AGIR POUR LA BIODIVERSITÉ

For more than 100 years, the LPO has acted in favor of biodiversity in all of France. In Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the history of the LPO stems from the evolution of the Ornithological Center Auvergne and the Rhône-Alpes Ornithological Center. Nine local associations and a regional coordination have merged on January 1, 2019 to fight together their fight and their actions for the preservation of biodiversity. Strengthened by this rich and diverse associative history, the new LPO Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes continues to convey its message protection of nature throughout the region, from a single and same voice. The local roots of the LPO AuRA make it an actor today essential for the preservation of wild nature, thanks to its 8875 members, its militant force, its actions in the field, its expertise and ability to work with many actors in society.
