Animal care
Baylène works in particular to help local populations manage the problem of overpopulation of stray cats and dogs on the streets. To do this, we carry out sterilization, vaccination and deworming campaigns for these animals, as well as adoption days. These actions aim to improve animal welfare while taking into account public health issues. Such actions are organized in Paraguay, and soon in Mayotte and Madagascar.
Solidarity
Baylène promotes solidarity at different scales. It supports ethical, equitable and sustainable forms of breeding; and works to improve animal welfare as well as the health status of stray animals. In this regard, Baylene is a partner of local (such as Adoptame in Paraguay) and international associations.
Solidarity
All the projects aim above all to come to the aid of associations, and more generally, to populations in need of resources. For the projects in Paraguay, Madagascar and Mayotte, the aim is to help manage stray animals and the health problems caused (rabies, parasites, etc.). In this way, the objective is to intervene at the same time at the animal health and public health level. We want to make our knowledge and our practice available, and provide financial and material support to the various local actors.
About us
Baylene is a humanitarian association of the National Veterinary School of Toulouse. It supports the development of animal husbandry in southern countries and leads campaigns of vaccination, sterilization, and adoption of stray animals.
