In 2021, Maped is structuring and developing its sponsorship activity by creating the 1% For Education Fund. Thus aiming to finance the maximum number of initiatives in favor of education throughout the world! With several hundred million products sold around the world, part of which will see 1% of their turnover donated to the Fund, we are convinced that we can participate at our level in improving the education of many children in the world.

70% of our emissions are generated by our products. So the best way to change tomorrow is to design it better. What is eco-design at Maped? It is the consideration of the environment at every stage of a product's life cycle. We will seek to reduce the impacts from the choice of materials, during production and we also anticipate the end of the product's life. So, we train, we develop guides and we will always choose the solution that will have the least impact.

Recyclable packaging for a more sustainable world! 100% elimination of PVC by 2022. Get rid of the superfluous, for example by using much lighter paper packaging for our erasers.

Our factory in France has been supplied with 100% green electricity, mainly from hydroelectricity since 2020. The result: a carbon impact divided by 10 on electricity! Our German site is ISO 50001 certified and invested in the renewal of its industrial tools in 2019. Result: -25% in energy consumption.
