The “Puisard” mission is the action that will mark the birth of AKPEL’EAU.
Where ?
With a population of nearly 6,000 inhabitants, the village of Assomé, located 35 kilometers from the capital of Togo, Lomé, will mark our rallying point.
For what ?
The top priority of the community and its leader is to establish basic sanitation facilities for every household. However, the main objective with these infrastructures is to completely eliminate malaria from their village.
Our goal is then to rid the village of waste and stagnant water points, real paradises for the proliferation of mosquitoes carrying malaria.
